No problem, I'm excited to see what connects with you. And this works out for me too, because I think the plan is for me and Annie to visit her parents later this month, so I need some nice clothes.

I had a lumbar puncture this morning, so: tired, headache, back kinda hurts. Basically, I feel busted. And I have to lie on my back, which is very boring. How's it with you? You un-possumed yourself by the time I dropped off Hot Cheetos, so that must have felt nice.

I haven't, so this will be interesting, lmao. And actually, I think I will need your help picking out a nice card for them. Just something that says, "I'm normal and not a gold-digging axe murderer, hello." Maybe a nice coffee table book, too? What do rich people like?

Annie's got me covered, but thanks. I thought I told you, but I guess I forgot I never did. It's a pretty safe procedure and nothing I'm experiencing is out of the ordinary. I'm more interested in hearing about how you un-possumed, tbh. (Please, I'm very bored right now. I need enrichment.)

Oh, honey is a good idea. It’s like saying, ā€œHi, I’m so sweet! Don’t pulverize me with your eyes, please.ā€

That’s really nice of you, Whit, and a tempting offer. But the headache should clear up after tomorrow. We can workshop dinner party dishes together next week, how about that?

Xanny poppin lol. Here’s kind of a weird question, but pertinent: what happens to your clothes when you go possum? I’m just thinking of how you could keep meds on you if you were out and about. Perhaps, dare I say, you start using a tote bag…

The clothes thing is a bummer. Do you get any sort of feeling before you change, like as a warning? And hm, if you wanted to keep your Xanax on you, it sounds like you’d need some sort of bag that wouldn’t be hulked. Not a crossbody, that’d definitely be hulked but… oh, maybe a tote?

Wear the tote, Whit. Do it.

Oh man, I’m sorry, Whit. Have you noticed if certain things trip that, or you’re still figuring it out?

It’s true. Lol I don’t want to brag, but I have some fashionable ones. You can borrow one or two while you find Your Tote.

Oh shoot, you move fast. Did Parson set you up with all that? Stressful, but really exciting. I saw Harris was looking for part-time work, maybe once you get help with the shop, you’ll have less stress on your plate?

Yes, I have just the thing: Kirkland Signature Mesh Shopper Bag. It has a zip top so nobody will see/jack your underwear. As far as brands go, LL Bean does nice ones. Generally you’ll want to go with totes from grocery stores and markets, like Trader Joe’s or that natural food market in Colchester, because you want a really thick bag that’ll stand up to wear and tear. The worst thing is when you’re walking around and your tote bag rips and your water bottle, wallet, keys, phone, sunglasses case, first aid kit, emergency sewing kit, pencil case, spare socks, travel-sized cologne, Aquaphor, Gun Oil H2O, and sudoku book fall out. Like great, lmfao.

Delegation! šŸ’Ŗ And Harris is a good kid. Curious and very into books, I think he’ll be really helpful.

And oh yeah, once you get yourself a tote bag, you’re never going back to pockets. Although depending on the situation, you won’t want to put everything in your tote. For example, casual out and about, slap on a carabiner for your keys. Back belt loop if you want to say ā€œI’m a reserved gentleman,ā€ front belt loop if you’re trying to let the people know you’re a dog, but you can be tamed, if you know what I mean. It’s all about accessories.

You can definitely pull it off, you have strong brows and that stubble thing going for you. But not with your Wes Anderson fits. […] Although maybe you could! I’d be interested in seeing it.

Are you intending on ditching the suits completely? Because keeping them but having other clothes to switch things up could be nice, too. Some days you might want to be a rugged Buck Mason mid-century writerman, other days you just gotta be a Wes Anderson shopkeeper.

[…] Should we get matching hoodies? Something obnoxious. […] Kidding about it being obnoxious not really but I’d be down to match with you. Like we can get matching Harvard hoodies to be obnoxious as a joke, haha.
